Trained in soccer – Discipled in life
Dear friend and ministry partner,
Jesus ministered to the masses, then to seventy, also to twelve and sometimes only three or one. We want to do the same.
I am excited to share with you the ttt4c soccer camp pilot over the 10th to 20th December 2010. ttt4c has a vision to have seventy young kids from disadvantaged communities be trained in soccer and discipled in life at the Eikenhof training centre, just south of Johannesburg.
The seventy young people, playing in a number of teams, will be housed, fed, clothed, trained and discipled.
Currently we are working with five churches in our ttt4c partner network to each identify a team. A team made up of vulnerable childen and ‘lost’ children in the community, along with their local church youth.
Dream with me about changed lives and of a project that can reach 1,000 children a year.
ttt4c’s soccer clinics have endorsements from the South African Football Association (SAFA) and collaboration from people in sports ministries.
Together we can:
– Make a huge impact,
– Discover the next SA soccer champion (or pastor!),
– Empower local churches to further impact their communities, and
– Send out 70 new ambassadors for the Kingdom.
Please pray about your involvement. ttt4c needs:
1. A corporate sponsor,
2. Various team sponsors,
3. Seventy R3,000 sponsorships,
4. Seventy Christmas gifts (boys 13 to 15 years of age),
5. Volunteers to serve for 10 days,
6. Send food or food vouchers.
We have enough land for a soccer pitch and need instant lawn and some earthworks to add another field.
Please also indicate if your church would have a team of 13 to 15 or 16 to 18 year old’s that may want to be a part of the next camp (by God’s grace 1 – 10 January but no funds yet).
I am as excited about the potential of this program, just as I was just before the launch of the Silver Ring Thing program that impacted 150,000 teenagers the next 3 years.
I urge you to play your part and give towards this initiative beyond your monthly giving.

Sincerely with expectation.
