The vision of turn the tide 4 children (ttt4c) began in May of 2003 during a Turn the Tide broadcast event when churches in southern Africa were challenged to rise up and address the issue of HIV?AIDS and the growing number of orphans resulting from this pandemic. From the commitments made during this event, ttt4c was born!
Martin Deacon, ttt4c’s former CEO, was instrumental in establishing turn the tide 4 children as a service to the church. With an ongoing burden for the many vulnerable children in South Africa, Martin continues to serve the ministry in various ways.
Since its inception, turn the tide 4 children moved from dream to reality. In September 2003, ttt4c began supporting its first four projects and has continued to grow. As the needs of children in Africa continue to increase, may this important work grow!
