Why the need for turn the tide 4 children?
Children face great spiritual, moral and social challenges. The local church is uniquely positioned to positively impact in these areas of challenge. The Body of Christ is commissioned, positioned and given the authority to impact the world. The church is instructed to reach the lost, mature the found and meet needs in communities. This is especially true of children.
What is turn the tide 4 children?
turn the tide 4 children (ttt4c) empowers local churches to impact vulnerable children in their communities.
ttt4c seeks to partner with and further empower High Impact Network member churches that are (already) impacting children.
The three distinctive of a high impact church:
1. Lost people are coming to Christ;
2. Found people are growing to maturity; and
3. The church is meeting significant needs in the community.
And the same needs to be happening in children’s ministry!
Through its SEED strategy, ttt4c focuses on the spiritual, physical, emotional and equipping needs of
– vulnerable children,
– their caregivers, and
– local church children’s ministry leaders.
