On 27 August 2011, 13 participants attended a KidZ At Heart Training held at the Walk Thru the Bible offices in Victory Park, Johannesburg.
This is what they had to say:
- “It was good to be reminded of things I have known for a while, but I realized I can apply these principles to my own kids on a day-to-day basis. The training equips teachers to work with kids and there will be a much better chance that children will come to love the Lord and His Word.”

This training reminded me how much I love working with children and teaching them about God and how important it is to build relationships with them.”

- “The training has transformed the way I think about children’s ministry. I have been involved in youth ministry for a long time and one tends to do things in the same way over and over again. KidZ At Heart is a fresh way of thinking about how to minister to kids.

- “I think the highlight of the training for me was when one of the students interrupted us during our Prodigal Son lesson to share his testimony. He told us that many years ago through this story he came to know Christ. He said he was the prodigal son that was welcomed back with open arms by his Father.”
