Dear Walk Thru the Bible and clothing4children
Thank you for the opportunity of being able to bless two organizations with bags of clothing. I was able to deliver 39 bags of clothing to the Lerato Educational Centre and to Touch of Care. I hope that the following will give you some insight into the difference that these organizations make in the communities that they serve.
Lerato Educational Centre is in a squatter camp where many of the community are HIV positive and so a lot of the children are growing up without parents. The children are who attend the centre are given two meals a day and there are a number of orphans who stay there too. The school also has a clinic, which provides free medical treatment to the people.
“A sincere thank you for the donation of clothing to our children at Lerato Educational Centre. The centre is situated in the informal settlement of Jackson’s Drift, near Eikenhof, Johannesburg. We have almost 400 children attending the centre daily – many of whom are orphans. As you can understand the needs are many and your gift of clothing is most welcome.
