“Teach a child to pray”

Our last KidZ At Heart training for the year was once again highlighted by the fact that God transformed the way the students think about prayer and leading a child to Christ. We trained 15 students in Centurion who attend our one day training on the 5th November 2011. They came with open hearts and the Lord truly touched them. Here is their feed back: “I have learned how to teach a child to pray and by participating myself, I also learned more about prayer!” –  Lucas Molepo, Centurion, RSA “I enjoyed learning how to share the Gospel with children by using my hands and fingers.” –  Toy Dippenaar, Randfontein, RSA “I learned different ways to teach kids how to pray. All the ideas are helpful and it will make a difference in our ministry.” –  Mariana Holtzhausen, Randfontein, RSA “I learned to use my hands to tell children about God’s love and that His Son died for our sins on the cross.” –  Given Maia, Centurion, RSA “Yes, I will encourage people to do KidZ At Heart training! The training gave us more experience on how to teach children about prayer and sharing the Gospel.” –  Nelson Modiba, Centurion, RSA […] […]

“KidZ At Heart training has broadened my understanding of how kids can be taught God’s Word”

KidZ At Heart Training was done at the Eikenhof Lifechange Centre on the 26 & 27 October 2011. Here’s some feedback from the candidates.  The way I think about children’s ministry has changed completely. I realize now that teaching learners can be interesting and enjoyable! I especially enjoyed the teaching on how to lead a child to Christ. – Mabasa Butana, Limpopo, RSA   I have learned that children learn in different ways and from now on my lessons will be more interactive and creative. – Nicia Cebo, Centurion, RSA   I have learned that the Bible can be brought to life using simple and creative methods. My thinking about children’s ministry has been refreshed! – Romela Narain, Lenasia, RSA   I have learned that teaching children does not have to be formal and strict. There are so many things we can do in order to grow our kids and our ministry. I will apply what I have learned at church and in my personal life. – Lovanya Moodley, Randburg, RSA   If you make the lessons exciting the children will be more involved and the stories will stay with them forever. – Wendy Dorasamy, Lenasia, RSA   I wish […] […]
